Dr. Hanley grew up in Wilmington, NC.
She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Appalachian State University in 1991. Dr. Hanley attended North Carolina State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. While attending NCSU-CVM, she participated in research and completed an externship in avian medicine and surgery in Franklin Square, NY. Dr. Hanley spent two years working in North Carolina before moving with her future husband Dan to Colorado for new adventures. In 1998 Dr. Hanley began working with Dr. Dodge and in 2001 joined him at the Jasper Animal Hospital as a regular relief veterinarian. She continues to enjoy serving people and their pets at Jasper Animal Hospital through education and compassionate care.
She and Dan have two boys, Jared and Ethan, who keep her active and busy. They share their home with Lucy, an LBD (little brown dog), and Zoe, a Blue Fronted Amazon. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming and cycling, cooking and gardening as well as hiking with Lucy.
