SERVICES

Examination/Consultation

A thorough physical exam and full consultation regarding your needs and expectations in the given situation is the cornerstone of every appointment. We strive to make sure that you understand the situation, our recommendations, and your options. We will take the time to address ALL of your concerns.

Laboratory/Pharmacy

We have in-house capabilities for complete routine bloodwork (CBC and Chemistries) as well as UA’s, fecals, and cytologies.

We also have a comprehensive onsite pharmacy to address the majority of our patients’ medical needs.

Anesthesia

Prior to being anaesthetized every patient receives pre-surgical bloodwork and a full exam. While under anesthesia, patients are continuously monitored for heart rate/electrocardiogram, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and respiration.

Surgery

We are equipped to do most soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, however, we do not perform intrathoracic (chest) surgery in-house. If the situation requires it, we refer to all area specialists.

Dentistry

We offer both anesthetic and non-anesthetic dental cleanings.  Appointments can be scheduled at no charge for dental exams or consultations to discuss which procedure makes the most sense for you and your pet.

Radiology

Jasper Animal Hospital’s advanced digital radiography enables our veterinarians to get a look at what is happening inside your animal using noninvasive techniques. This equipment provides immediate imaging results while maximizing image quality with less radiation exposure to your animal.  Additionally, patient’s radiographs can easily be copied onto compact discs or sent via e-mail for consultation with specialists.

Ultrasound exams can be arranged on an as-needed basis.  An ultrasound specialist will come to our clinic to perform the evaluation and discuss their findings with our veterinarians.

Laser Therapy

We also offer Class IV K-Laser therapy which can be of benefit post surgically for wound healing (this is routinely performed on all surgical/dental patients) as well as addressing pain management and hard to treat conditions such as feline gingivitis and canine lick granulomae.

Our goal is to provide the best possible care for you and your pet at reasonable prices. All expenses will be discussed before they are incurred. We also have extremely good relationships with area specialists and can arrange appointments with them for you as situations arise.
